The result of a meticulous selection of reserve wines and a proportion of Pinot Noir vinified as red, Krug Rosé expresses a multifaceted aromatic palette: rose petals, blackberries, red fruits, soft spices and subtle pastry notes. On the palate, it combines freshness, tension and depth, ending with a long, elegant finish, supported by fine, persistent bubbles.

Krug Rosé is a versatile champagne, created to break down barriers and reveal itself as an unexpected partner at the table. Its complexity allows for bold pairings, approaching dishes normally reserved for red wines of great finesse. At O Gaveto Restaurant, the following pairings stand out:

  • Grilled Fish – The purity and firmness of fish such as sea bass or grilled turbot emphasise the fruity freshness and spicy touch of Krug Rosé.

  • Roasted Meats – The succulence and depth of flavour of dishes such as roasted lamb or duck rice find in Krug Rosé an ally of structure and elegance, with enough acidity to cut through the fat and bring out the aromas.
